Dr. Nelu Nedelea
Nelu Nedelea's life story, shaped by his beginnings in communist-era Romania, exemplifies resilience and a deep-rooted curiosity. His international journey through Romania, Spain, Canada, and the USA has enriched his career in healthcare leadership with a unique multicultural perspective. Currently serving as the System Vice President of Mission & Ministry at Mercy, Nelu excels in mission integration and developing transformative strategies, a skill honed across roles at leading institutions like Mercy and Adventist Health. His leadership was particularly impactful during the challenging times of the COVID-19 crisis, demonstrating his ability to foster innovative workplace cultures. Holding a PhD in Global Leadership & Change from Pepperdine University, Nelu blends his extensive professional experience with rich personal insights. With over 20 years in visionary executive leadership, he is committed to continuous improvement and operational excellence. Beyond his professional achievements, Nelu cherishes his life with his wife and two daughters, embodying a story of global exploration, unwavering professional dedication, and deep familial love.
